Paypal Scam - A New Threat to Internet Shoppers

Guys Beware !!!!


Just like to share with you a latest Scam from paypa1.com. Read it again, it is not PAYPAL.COM BUT PAYPA1.COM.

 

They send you an email with exactly same looks as if paypal would have. The mail is sent from service@paypa1.com (notice the domain is clearly paypa1.com i.e. there is a number “1” instead of letter “l”.

The email contains a link to update your account just like this

Phishing and Scam Emails are Appearing from Major Banks – Beware!!

Recently I have been receiving a bunch of fake mails in my inbox, from what it appears the mails seems to be originating from legit bank addresses. Banks like HDFC, PNB, SBI to name a few, in the past month alone I have received dozens of fraudulent mails from these banks which asks me to update my contact information, online net banking password, PIN and other sensitive data.
